The Prime Minister of Sweden talks about the attack on Global Sumud Flotilla activists as if they were tourists going on vacation to a country that is unsafe to visit — as if he has completely lost the context and taken everything out of its proper setting.
What the Swedish Prime Minister entirely ignores is that Israel’s attack on Global Sumud Flotilla (on april 30 2026) took place far from the territory of the occupation.
The entire flotilla was unarmed and had the intention to bring medicine and supplies to a people who have been subjected to horrific military abuses.
Again and again the swedish Prime minister point to Sweden’s travel advisory for the area. There was a very different approach when civilians wanted to help the people of Ukraine in a similar way.
How can the Prime minister of a 'democratic' country blame activists who are trying to prevent siege, mass murder, ecocide, apartheid and genocide?
Israel is a rogue state that commits war crime after war crime, and that violates both civil rights and human rights year after year. All international cooperation is failing in this context.
In recent years the Swedish Prime minister has continued to allow arms trade with Israel — which contravenes Sweden’s own ethical guidelines. To sum this up: the Swedish government is suffering from severe cowardice.
Worldleaders who continue to support Israel with weapons - and their silent consent to genocide - is more scary than the actions of the madmen (dictators) themselves.
