When healing takes place

After a lifelong journey towards healing, I have found that it is fundamental to find ones own path. And what you need at one point in time might not be required for progress later on in the healing process.

I recently found a kind of music, just three tunes – which right now in this specific time and space reality – immediately brings me a deep relaxation through out my whole being. It’s like medication for the soul, with only positive side effects. I am so grateful for this, at this challenging time in my life. It gives me the inner strength needed.

If you open up to finding your own path towards healing – if you’re not already on it – exactly what you need will show up just in the right time and place. It is important to invite change into your heart, into your life, and into your whole world. It helps if you are sincerely longing for it. It makes you awake and alert, so you notice the path when it appears.

You will see it, and maybe become amazed over how it’s actually all around, and always has been – those life transforming blessings. Some that might turn your whole world around.

If you feel uncertain about how to find it, and how to see it – meditation will help. Inviting silence is always beneficial in the healing process. You can find a place of stillness within even if your thoughts and emotions are running wild. It just takes a little practice before you can just witness it all.

It is such a beautiful thing. When you have rested there long enough, you will come to that moment when you gradually stop identifying with your inner turmoil. And just let it be.

When deep relaxation takes place, the bodily system releases blocked emotions from past experiences. To shut it in might have been due to a survival instinct at the time, or an inability to handle it when it happened. But sooner or later we all need this transformative release, and letting go of suppressed emotions is fundamental to every healing process. We can not escape what has already happened to us, even if the experiences at the time was deeply harmful and unwanted.

This trauma release can make your mind react as if meditation is something unpleasant, when it actually just is healing taking place. It might be hard to see that it is something beautiful happening at the time.

It is important that you know how to handle harsh, erratic or even deeply painful emotions – and if you’re dealing with trauma, you might need someone present to support you. Someone who knows what is happening, and what is needed in this process. If you’re on your own when emotional release is taking place – give yourself the loving support in this moment that you would have needed from a mother or a father.

Embrace and comfort yourself from within. Give yourself the love you need, you have it all within you.

Over the years I have been through so many different processes. Treatments, courses, classes, meditation centers, lectures. Different kinds of mental training, spiritual meetings, all those books and teachings, people sharing their experiences. Driven by a curiosity regarding religions, spirituality and metaphysics. It’s all been a journey in it self. Now I have come to a point when I can use these different methods and understandings when life experiences are getting too harsh. In deep gratitude.

I have arrived to a place where silence is my religion and intuition is my truth. Everything else is fading away.

Today I know the value of finding that path of transformative healing. Actually it never seems to end, but at this point in my life I have at least come to appreciate the process. Sometimes I experience an empowering sense of serenity. It deepens when healing has taken place.

So if you’re not on it – at this point in you lifetime – I hope you will find inspiration to open up to your own journey of healing. Just wish for it, and it will take place.
